Discounts restrictions

Overview

Limit how many discount codes can be used at a time and exclude discount codes from being used with other discounts or from being stacked with other discounts and many other restriction features that assure you full control over your discounts and consequently raises your ROI and AOV

• Discount codes limit
  
  In this field, you can limit how many discount codes can be used at a time.
  
  
  
• Set a maximum discounts value:
  
  You can set a maximum discount value a customer cannot exceed get per order even if they enter multiple discount codes. It can be a percentage or a fixed amount.
  
  
  
• Override Shopify automatic discount
  
  Because restrictions don’t work with Shopify automatic discounts, we’ve provided this option to make the discount code override Shopify automatic discount by enabling it. If you didn’t enable this option, your customers will get both; the discount code(s) and Shopify automatic discount.
  
  
  
• Allow gift cards discounts
  
  Gift card codes can work from the app discount field widget by enabling this option, but they have to be formatted like credit card format ex: “xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx”(16 characters), otherwise you can apply it from checkout, it can be with without the above format.
  
  

*If you choose to apply gift card discounts through the app, you should bear in mind that the gift card code will be applied on the cart but the value cannot be calculated from the cart, the value can be calculated on the checkout page only.

• Descending minimum purchase amount
  
  If you allow two discounts to be applied together. For example; 10% OFF discount + Free Shipping discount and the Free Shipping discount should be applied when cart reaches $100, but because 10% OFF discount will be applied first then the cart will drop to $90 so the Free Shipping discount will not be applied in this case. If you want the Free Shipping discount to still get applied you can enable “Descending minimum purchase amount” option in this case.
  
  
• Limit each product to 1 discount only
  
  This option prevents double discounting the same product if more than one discount will be applied. Please note that: in order for this option to work, discounts should be entitled to specific products or collections. If you would like to enable it for all products, you can create a collection containing all your products and entitle the discount to that collection.

• Exclude discounts from being stacked
  
  If you don’t want specific discounts not to be stacked with any other discounts you can add these discounts to that field.
  
  
  
  
• Exclude discounts from being used together
  
  Exclude discount codes from being used with each other.
  
  For example, if you don’t want VANS10OFF and ADIDAS5OFF discount codes to be stacked with each other, add them to a set as shown below.
